Hoshino on Legendaries, M-B, and What's Next
Producer Masaaki Hoshino confirmed that Legendary Pokémon are planned for a future regulation, though they are unlikely to remain available permanently — suggesting a rotation-based approach. New Pokémon and items will arrive roughly every three months, with the first additions coming in Regulation Set M-B on June 17.
Hoshino also outlined the broader roadmap: new battle arenas and player-hosted tournaments are in development, mobile launch remains the current top priority, and replay functionality has been ruled out for now due to compatibility issues between game versions.

Monthly Challenge May — Win a Free Gallade
The Monthly Challenge Series May opens for registration on May 22 and runs through June 1. Play three or more battles — wins don't matter — to receive a Gallade, 100 Quick Coupons, and an exclusive in-game title.
The competition is accessible in-game via Battle → Online Competitions. This is the second Monthly Challenge in Pokémon Champions and continues the free-reward format established at launch.

Season M-2 — Gengar, Kangaskhan & Skarmory
Season M-2 launched on May 13 with a full ranked ladder reset. The new Battle Pass runs through June 17: Gengar and Gengarite are free at tier 25, while the premium track adds Skarmory and Kangaskhan with their Mega Stones and a Paxton outfit cosmetic set.
No new Pokémon join the competitive roster this season — that comes with Regulation M-B on June 17. Season M-1 rank rewards were distributed at season start, and the format remains Regulation M-A throughout.
